Another volunteer work added to my list. Trees for life 2014 at Taman Tasik Kota Kemuning. This event was held on 21st of June, a Saturday morning. We ssv went there as volunteers to help planting trees.
Before starting to plant our trees, there's demonstration by the other volunteer who are very familiar with planting. So we learnt something new from them.
We have to sign our names there on the banner, just for remembrance. Haha. Hey that's me with pink colour bag. Lol.
This was taken before the planting tree event. We were waiting for it to start. The girl next to me is the new friend I met that day. We both went there alone. After chatting with her for a while, I found that we're like sisters. Haha, so happy to meet new friends. We were born in the same year by the way. ;)
The planting area is surrounding the pond. The SSV area was at Plot 7 which is quite near the end of the place. We have to pick up tools that we need before we head to our area. But for us, we were really blur and don't even know which tool to take with us.
That's me and my partner, planting 4 trees together, just the 2 of us.
The process of digging hole (some of them has been dug), putting the baby into the hole, put back the soil and shower with water. Haha it was tiring but quite fun as this was our first time.
Met another few people like Crystal (not sure about the spelling), Nicole and Pik Ying.

After the tiring activity, we got very big bananas from the Majlis Bandaraya Shah Alam as there were many leftovers.
