PD Thistle Hotel Trip

Hello ebibady! :D

Although I'm having my 'holiday', but I was just too busy and lazy to write about my Port Dickson trip. But now I'm finally back with the kick to write. Haha.

Since I had earned some $ during my internship, I decided to plan a short-nearby trip with my love and we somehow found that there was this Thistle Hotel 2 day 1 night stay on Groupon. So we bought it.

We booked a room on 1st of July. On that day itself, we embarked on our journey from Melaka and for that one hour road trip, we really enjoyed it. We were unfamiliar with all the kampung roads to PD. But somehow, it's quite easy. 

Before reaching at our hotel, we passed by Lexis Hibiscus, and decided to turn in and take a look at this new place. But it turned out to be borrowing their washroom.

It's quite beautiful but there's still construction going on. And it was just like the one we stayed in Sepang. Nothing really special for me, and not really interested. Just, beautiful.

After another few minutes, we reached our hotel. We decided to check in first because it was 12pm, but the check in time is 3pm, and we wanted to test our luck. Since it was also weekday, we had a higher chance to get the room earlier. 

After checking in, we headed out to have our lunch at a small restaurant just opposite our hotel.

Our first meal was: a plate of fried rice and a plate of prawn. Only for two. Haha. Maybe for some other people this may be quite not enough, but that was quite enough for a small eater like me. (Too happy to have prawn for our first meal there)

Back to our room and rest for a while. The room is quite spacious (more than enough for me). Especially its bathroom is really big.

There's this snake game we played for a while there. Haha too bored.

Then we went out to explore the PD. This beach is another private beach at PD. We just went there for a different view at the beach. But I love the beach at our hotel more.

I did some research before going there. I saw there's this petting zoo nearby and so we went there. Forgotten how much is the entrance fees, but you need to purchase the food to feed the animals there for RM3 per packet.

There's chicken, ostrich, goat, horse, donkey, rabbit and etc. The worst feeling came was when we were feeing the ostrich. It's beak was so big and it'll make you worry that it will bite your hand.

After that we went to the town of PD, and went to McDonald's for ice-cream. Hanging out around the town until it's dinner time and we went back to another restaurant nearby our hotel again. This time we ordered two crabs for another time of seafood cravings. Haha! The price was quite reasonable and most importantly, it was really fresh!

The next day, we went back at 1pm after checking out and have our lunch at nearby. This time, we had fried sotong as our main dish. Haha. (So called high cholesterol trip)

So that's quite all for our trip in PD. Because that place has really nothing much to do, and so we spent most of our time in hotel, using its facilities since we paid for it. That was really a relaxing trip for me. Hope to have another one soon, because nothing to do and rotting at home is making me more stressed up. Haha slap me please.
